We realized we needed to do something
Greg and Josh have personally experienced the devastation of flooding after multiple hurricanes in 2024. After seeing so much damage and loss of property in their community, they realized something needed to be done. They started researching different flood mitigation products and discovered FlowStop. They were so impressed with the product that they partnered with FlowStop as a representative. Coastal Homes has shifted their primary focus to assisting their community with flood protection.

How does it work?
The FlowStop flood barrier comprises two main parts: An upper cushion and a lower one.
The top cushion is designed to push sideways against the wall. The intense pressure locks the device, creating a roof for the lower cushion.
With the upper cushion inflated, the lower cushion is stuck between the ground and the upper cushion. As you inflate it, it will expand and press down against the ground, creating a water resistant seal.
Is it strong enough, though?
Flowstops are made of PVC, which makes it resistant to debris, temperature, wind, and strong impact.
Flowstop is built with drop-stitch technology, which is commonly used in inflatable paddle boards. This allows us to apply over 15 PSI pressure inside the cushions, creating an impressively strong barrier.
This pressure fills the imperfections on the surfaces it touches, creating a water-resistant seal.
Warranty
FlowStop comes with a five-year warranty.
Modifications
To be able to use FlowStop in some instances, modifications may need to be made such as, installing a short post on either side of the door opening or adding a solid base under pavers set on sand.

How to Pay
We accept all major credit cards and ACH payments. Additionally, we offer flexible financing options: Up to 21 month interest-free installments or extended plans of 3-years, 5-years or 10 years with varying interest rates based on your credit score.

1 Custom-Made Protection - FlowStop is a custom-made inflatable device designed to reduce the risk of damages from exterior flooding.
2 Non-Exchangeable & Non-Refundable - Each FlowStop is manufactured to the exact dimensions you provide. Please ensure your measurements are accurate before ordering:
3 "Height & Protection Level - *The Height of the FlowStop listed on your quote includes the entire device.
* The gasket does not extend to the top, meaning the effective flood protection level is 5 inches less than the height."
4 Frame Depth Requirement - To function correctly, the frame depth of the opening must be at least two-thirds of the FlowStop’s own depth.
5 "Surface & Frame Requirements - * The surface in contact with FlowStop must be flat and textured. Surfaces too sleek like aluminium or painted wood needs anti-skid tapes.
* If any, Grouts or ledges must not exceed 1/3 of an inch.
* Frame walls must be parallel for a proper seal."
6 Width of your FlowStop - Your flowstops will arrive wider than listed on this invoice. Up to 2 inches wider. This is by design and will ensure maximum efficiency.
7 Not a Hurricane Shutter Replacement- FlowStop is designed for flood protection and should not be used as a substitute for hurricane shutters.
8 LEAD TIME - We are committed to delivering your order as promptly as possible, typically within 45 days. However, unforeseen events may cause delays in production or shipping up to 90 days. For the most accurate lead time at the time of your order, please contact us directly.
How to get your flowstop
01. INITIAL CONSULTATION
Contact Us and schedule a visit with our team. We will review all available options, assess compatibility, and provide an estimate and recommendations.
02. ON-SITE ASSESSMENT
We will take final measurements and provide a tailored recommendation to ensure optimal protection for your home.
03. FINAL QUOTE & DELIVERY
Following the assessment, you will receive a final quote. Upon approval, we will issue an invoice. Your FlowStop system will be ready within six weeks of receipt of payment.
04. Installation
FlowStop flood protection is a self-installation device. Should you need assistance, we will help you learn the process to be ready for the next flooding event.
